Well..Its been a long time since I blogged... Had a lovely and boring winter break..The highlight of course, was my naughty niece...neways am back and this time I think I will do some serious writing..i too need to learn smthing u know!!

Well if u r wondering what the hell that is... Its Japanese and Chinese noun form of the word "Weekend"
Surprisingly enuf...
The noun Saturday night special has one meaning:
meaning: a cheap handgun that is easily obtained.The term is meant to evoke the image of a bar fight (which are most common on Saturday nights). These gun are some times labeled "Junk Guns".


How did the parties during the weekends start?

In the early industrial era in Europe...believe it or not..people used to work 6 days a week and well eventually got tired of it..literally...and the late 19th and the early 20th century saw the birth of a 5 day work week.. and saturdays or rather friday nites started the weekend time to chill and relax and take it easy.....seems it all started in England ..

You may think, that wild parties, shopping spreeeess.., crowded restaurants, hectic traffic, long lines at walmart,sold out status at movies....are a pain and sometimes give u a heart attack..(well let me tell u something, u r getting old and of course u r married with kids....) but the entrepreneurs do a lotta business and the economy started growing..like a weed...

But soon time passed, and well people started working on weekends and were paid more money for working on weekends.... Of course schools and most government offices still remain closed on weekends..

Yet the tradition still continues....
One more advantage of Saturday is that well if u have a major hangover (u drank too much on friday nite at ur friends party...) its one day u can curl up in bed and sleep like a dead dodo for hours together...

I think it is natural human tendency to sleep late into the mornings during the weekend... It is also noted that websites have less activity over weekends..Of course everyone longs for a
"long weekend" .


I personally wud luv to have one more day off.... during the middle of the week.. like a wednesday.. it wudnt hurt neone u know...who wouldn't???? ciao.
